Accessibility statement.

Our commitment to making this site usable for every patient.

Our commitment

Central Jersey Physical Therapy wants everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as a screen reader, screen magnifier, voice control software, or keyboard-only navigation, to be able to use this website to learn about our practice, find a location, and request an appointment.

Conformance target

We’ve built this site to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA (opens in a new tab). That standard covers things like text alternatives for images, sufficient color contrast, full keyboard operability, clear form labeling and error messages, and content that still works with assistive technology.

Measures we’ve taken

  • A skip-to-content link, semantic landmarks, and a logical heading structure on every page.
  • Descriptive alternative text for photos, staff portraits, and icons; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Every form field has a visible, programmatically associated label, clear required-field and error messaging that isn’t conveyed by color alone, and full keyboard operability through submission.
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, with extra contrast on dark backgrounds.
  • Content that respects a visitor’s reduced-motion preference, and that remains readable if a script fails to load.
  • Regular automated and manual testing as the site changes.

Ongoing review

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. We review this site whenever we add or change a page and periodically re-test it against WCAG 2.1 AA.

Known limitations

Some parts of this site depend on services we don’t control:

  • Google Maps embed (on our location and contact sections): the map itself is Google’s own interface. If you have trouble with it, the full address and a “Take Me There” link are provided right next to it.
  • Elfsight Google Reviews widget: if this third-party widget fails to load, we show a plain-text panel linking directly to our Google reviews instead.
  • Patient story carousel and review wall: these auto-advance, but pause automatically when you hover over or focus them with a keyboard.

If any of these, or anything else on the site, gets in the way of the information or care you’re trying to get to, please contact us using the information below and we’ll help you directly.
